Will a BBC fit where an SBC was on my airboat stand?

I've got a small block Chevy with a CH3 belt drive on my airboat right now. I'm thinking about swapping in a big block Chevy and using the same engine stand, but I'm not sure if it'll fit or what signs to look for if it doesn't. Still new to airboats and not the strongest wrench, so any tips or things to check would be really appreciated.

Swapping from SBC to BBC can work but then know that big blocks are wider and heavier and your current engine stand might not have the clearance or support, so you might wanna confirm that first

Yep, a big block Chevy should fit on your small block stand because they have the same mounting. Just be aware that big blocks are larger and heavier, so make sure your stand is strong enough. Also, measure your engine bay to ensure it fits without any trouble.

Swapping to a big block Chevy is a solid upgrade for an airboat but I have the same concern as the other guys.
The main challenge is fitting the larger, heavier engine into your hull and ensuring your current engine stand can handle the increased weight and dimensions.
When you measure your existing engine bay, pay close to attention to clearance for exhaust and under any engine cover!!
