I've been tweaking my setup to get better engine performance out of my airboat, yunno just for pulling power in the marsh. I've been paying more attention to tuning, airflow, and keeping temps in check so it's not just bolt ons either. Definitely feeling the difference and I'm glad I did it but would be cool to hear what you all are doing concerning mods

I really enjoy hearing about setups that are actually fine-tuned for practical use rather than just focusing on the numbers. What engine are you using? Did you tweak the prop pitch too, or are you just sticking with some basic tuning for now? Personally, I think I'd tackle it by building a lighter engine stand first. Then, I'd frame a lighter EMT prop guard that offers good support for the rudders. And while I'm at it, I'd work on creating a cleaner, simpler starter mount. It's all about finding that balance, right?

I'm just getting into airboats, so just curious, what kind of airflow upgrades was the best for you? And are you seeing smoother response or just more raw torque out in the marsh?
