Thinking about heading out from Camp Mack this weekend and trying to get a feel for how far I can reasonably go by airboat without burning half the day (or my fuel), terrain and water levels should make a big difference I know, but ballpark...how far out can you get in an hour or so from Camp Mack?
Cruising and looking for scenic runs, maybe some spots off the beaten path, also it would help to know if they are any routes to avoid, I can search up on the net about it but I'd love real assurance

From Camp Mack, you can usually cover 20–30 miles in an hour depending on water levels and terrain. Scenic runs through the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes, but steer clear of low-water areas near Lake Kissimmee this season, they've been tricky lately

If you're cruising in an airboat from Camp Mack, expect to go about 15–20 miles per hour. Just remember that water levels and plants can slow you down, so give yourself extra time and stick to the safe, marked paths
