I'm wondering if it's possible to cut one of your airboat props down to the exact length I need, I am not sure whether resizing props like this works well or if it risks performance issues

Well no matter the prop tho, why would you wanna cut it to size, you risk throwing off the balance and messing with the blade angles, why not just buy a new part that fits

I get that, and yeah, buying a new one might be safer, I was just exploring options since I already have this prop, I am trying to see if trimming's ever worked for folks

It's a composite two-blade, and I'm looking to shorten it slightly. I'm wondering if trimming will throw off balance or reduce thrust
Hmm, changing its size can cause imbalance and performance problems. I think its better to get a prop that's the right size from the start to avoid issues.

I'm glad you're asking before trying it! The answer is you should absolutely NOT cut down an airboat prop lol
